Our Great Good Luck

We had a really magical Christmas this year- our first white one in years and years! The snow appeared a day or two before our arrival in Seattle and left as we were leaving. With icycles crusting the eaves and snow drifts making it impossible to get the van out of the driveway, we had the perfect excuse to cozy up at home with mom's gingerbread and the babies. Caleb and Julian saw snow for the first time and really loved it. I just couldn't drag Caleb away from his sled. We had talked about going here and going there, but we wound up having a wonderful time just being together. It was the best Christmas present ever.

We got snowed in in Seattle too. I loved it, as I haven't had a real snow storm since I moved to the south 9 years ago. *sigh.

Wish we had known you were in the area, we could have gotten our twins together. Of course, we were snowed in just the same.

You really did catch some great shots of the boys!

We also had snow while visiting in Utah, but my little guy refused efforts to apply hats, mittens, and even coats to him. So he didn't get to enjoy it much.

Glad you're all back home safe!
